Location
Farne House is located on the headland overlooking the harbour at Seahouses, a traditional Northumbrian fishing village.
Seahouses is on the B1340 coastal road, three miles south of Bamburgh and two miles north of Beadnell, on a stretch of coast characterised by long stretches of sandy beaches and
sand dunes.
Seahouses is easly accessible from Scotland via Berwick-upon Tweed and the main A1 coastal route. From the south, the A1 through Morpeth and Alnwick is the obvious route.
Newcastle can be reached in under one hour.
Seahouses is a splendid choice of location for a holiday in Northumberland. All of the attractions of Northumberland's Heritage Coast are within easy reach - Craster, for example, is just
15 minutes away by car and Holy Island is only a little further at 30 minutes - while, inland, the natural wilderness of Northumberland National Park promises invigorating days out amidst
spectacular countryside and scenery.
Detailed travel directions will be provided once you have booked.
We also have other holiday cottages with leisure facilities at Akeld Manor, near Wooler.
